Icade, a major real estate player part of the Caisse des Dépôts group, is dedicated to building the city of 2050: sustainable, inclusive, and resilient. Digitalization plays a central role in this mission, featuring hybrid cloud, automation, collaborative tools, and data serving business performance.

Within the DISN (Department of Information Systems and Digital), the infrastructure teams had a clear objective: to improve the reliability and simplicity of critical data backups while reducing manual interventions.

Until then, backups had relied on magnetic tapes and heterogeneous tools, involving complex and time-consuming procedures.
