Strengthening backup security in a growing shared environment

Antin Résidences, an entity of the Arcade-VYV group, manages the pooling of IT services covering all network infrastructures, servers, and collaborative environments. Consequently, backup is a highly critical issue. The existing infrastructure relied on two co-located data centers, which did not fully comply with security best practices—specifically the 3-2-1 rule recommended by ANSSI.

The objective was threefold:

  • Secure a physically distinct backup copy.

  • Guarantee advanced protection against attacks, particularly via immutability mechanisms.
