ARTESCA+ NVIDIA VSS Blueprint · For AI vision ISVs
Simplify your video AI application deployments on a proven stack
Scality ARTESCA+ and the NVIDIA AI Blueprint for Video Search and Summarization (VSS) bring video AI on-premises. Video understanding, S3 object storage with retention, edge hardware and an operator console all run on your own premises, so footage never leaves the building. The stack is already built and tested, so all you add is the application.
Built for the demands of video that must stay on site
The stack: four parts, one validated system
The plumbing is done, so your engineers stay on your application
Most video-AI projects at the edge stall on integration long before the model becomes the problem. Somebody has to make inference, storage, hardware and operations behave as one system in one building, at a size a single site can justify, and this stack arrives with that work done.
Because the four were validated as one system, what you integrate against is a defined configuration with a documented baseline, not a parts list. Validate against it once, and the same configuration is what a customer deploys at the next site and the one after.
For your application
What you get by integrating
An ordinary storage boundary
Recorded video is exposed through an S3 interface with 100% S3 API fidelity, so your application starts from something it already knows.
Retention handled for you
Scality ARTESCA+ enforces retention in the storage layer through S3 Object Lock, so a recording sealed as evidence cannot be overwritten or deleted before its retain-until date, even by an administrator.

the offer
What happens after you get in touch
Fill in the form and a named engineer at Scality picks it up, with a first response inside two business days.
Test on our lab
We create a real S3 account on the Scality lab and email the credentials to your named contact, usually the same day.
Work the integration with our engineers
Our integration team works directly with yours until your application runs against the defined configuration.
Get validated and documented
If it validates, we document the integration on the ARTESCA Validated Partner Applications list, where customers and our field teams look to see what works, and we publish a joint blog post.
Proof
What Scality has validated
What Scality has tested itself, before any partner has been through the program. As ISVs validate, their documented integrations join this section.
The console is public
The operator console is open source at github.com/scality/artesca-vss-console.
Two supported topologies
A converged host, with inference and storage on one machine, for a single site with a bounded retention need. A separate VSS host against an external Scality ARTESCA cluster, for retention that outlives or outgrows any one appliance.
A measured run
Scality lab, 2026.
In the Scality lab, a single NVIDIA RTX PRO™ 6000 Blackwell Generation GPU ran five camera streams for thirty minutes with VSS recording to Scality ARTESCA+ S3 throughout, without interruption. This was an integration validation, not a performance benchmark, and it shows the two systems hold together under sustained multi-camera load.
