Who qualifies for the cyber guarantee?
The $100,000 guarantee applies to commercial ARTESCA deployments that meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 50 TB licensed capacity in production use
- ARTESCA version 4.1.3 or higher
- Software kept current on supported releases
- Protected data stored using S3 Object Lock in compliance mode
- Deployment aligned with recommended security practices

What qualifies as a “cyber incident”?
A qualifying incident is a demonstrable encryption or deletion of data stored on an ARTESCA-managed volume as the direct result of an external, unauthorized cyberattack (such as ransomware).
Guarantee does not apply to incidents resulting from:
- Data exfiltration without encryption or deletion
- Compromised credentials stored outside ARTESCA
- Shared credentials
- Unauthorized actions by approved personnel
- Customer indemnity obligations
Written notice must be provided within 48 hours of discovery, along with reasonable cooperation during root cause analysis.
